Licks (or etude) on 3NPS scale
3 notes per string scales can be viewed on the fret board as group of 6 notes on 2 strings (3 times and you have touch all the strings)
What if you play on each group of 6 notes the 1st, 5th and 6th
What if you sweep the 1st and 5th
What if you combined this in a kind of lick ?
Below my homework for tonight base on A minor (GP file available here)
(nota : on section 2 I cheat on the second arpegio, but it sounds better like this :)

2017 ! Happy New Year !
To be able to progress, one need clear objectives and be honest on what is already known and mastered and what is not :
- my penta/major scale in any position, but still not able to play them in any key
- notes on most strings, but have weakness on G and B string
- my C major / A minor on first 12 frets
I'm weak at ...
- interval recognition
- keeping consistent strumming
- alternate picking
- open chords changing
- I don't know many open chords
- be able to solo over basic chord progression
- master some tunes from start top end (metal genre + pop with sing along)
- practice strict alternate picking exercises, incorporating arpeggios
- learn (more) theory on scale and chords, record chord progression and play along (and use BT)
- learn drums
- ear training (write a software ?)
